When the children were walking down the hill in the forrest they spotted a swing, the children enjoyed sitting on the swing. When the children were coming to the end of the forrest the children spotted a make shift campsite.
This week the children have been making bats and spider biscuits for halloween, the children have been rolling out the icing, using a bat cutter and pressing down on the icing to make a bat icing. They then put the bat on the cookie and made eyes for the red icing.
They also made spider biscuits by spreading the icing with a knife on their buiscuit. They added the legs around their bisuit and eyes.
On the 6th October the nursery bought a water melon to carve as pumpkins wasnt out just yet! So the children enjoyed scooping the watermelon out into a bowl and lifting it up to pour the juice out. Once the water melon was all scooped out the children cut out two eyes and mouth for the water melon.
