Our children at the nursery take part in a two monthly visits to Maycroft Manor Care Home.. This is too support inter generational friendships in our community..
The children have taken part in a fundraising events some of the events included are Barnardos Big Toddle and Children in need. On Mondays's Maycroft Manor has a visit from a lovely dog called Oscar that is a therapy dog and sometimes the children see Oscar and give him a stroke.
During our visits to Maycroft Manor the children have had lunch with the residents when celebrating Children in Need. The children also got to spend some time with the residents during a local barbecue they had, visiting their roof top terrace when taking part in the Teletubbies Big Toddle and taking part in the Samba band party they held in October 2018.
