Out in the community
At My First Friends Nursery we take our children out in the community. We make sure all children get to experience positive impressions of cultures and faiths and those of others in the surrounding community, by sharing and celebrating a range of practices and special events. We also invite people from a range of cultural backgrounds to talk about aspects of their life's or the things they do in their work.
When visitors arrive at the nursery we do a nursery walk and talk through all our display boards reflecting the diversity and ethos of our nursery.
