A massive thank you to East Sussex Fire crew (Green Watch) for coming to the nursery and allowing the children to sit in the cab and in the back of the fire engine. Some of the children even got to wear the fire fighters helmet and their hose.
The children also sung I'm a little fire fighter and did stop drop and roll with the fire fighters. We hope you enjoyed the food !
The children went for a walk in the local community to the library, the children looked at books and helped to scan the books to borrow for nursery.
We like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
It has been a pleasure teaching and looking after your children, watching them grow and make progress throughout the year. We cannot wait to see them all in January for a new adventure.
Thank you to all the parents for the lovely presents that the staff recieved this week it was very kind of you.
See you all soon :)
Elaine , Demita and Sarah
All this week the children are enjoying a visit in the local community to see the cows and sheep. Some children saw hoof prints from the sheep and paw prints from the dogs that use the field. Since seeing the animals the children have been making sheep, cows and a windmill.
On Tuesday 18/10 the children saw some cows they wanted us to sing Old McDonald, we discussed the colours of the cows.
In October the children had a visit from Sussex Police. They learnt what role the police do, the tools they use e.g radio. The children enjoyed using the black ink to leave a finger print. But most of all they enjoyed sitting in the police car and hearing the siren.
